Gun rights activists are descending on the Washington, DC area on Monday to promote their Second Amendment rights and advocate for greater availability and access to firearms.

Gun owners are gathering near the Washington Monument to take part in the Second Amendment March and members of a militia movement, who are actually be armed, are holding events in Northern Virginia.
